Otherwise, packages are generally dispatched immediately after order or within 1-2 business days after receipt of payment and are shipped via common ground carrier or LTL freight carrier to the 48 continental states with tracking information and required signature delivery confirmation. All products are stored and shipped in their original manufacturers packaging and are shipped fully insured. Therefore, all damaged condition deliveries must be reported to the delivery shipping company and Air Conditioners R Us within 10 days of delivery in order to expedite the refund/replacement process. Please inspect your package upon delivery and report any damages to the deliverer. Please retain all original packaging and accessories as they will need to be returned to Air Conditioners R Us, before a replacement or refund can be issued.
You may return any "unopened" products and accessories within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. Simply return the item to us, shipping prepaid & using the most convenient shipping method available to you. Some products include free shipping, so if you return one of these products our actual outbound shipping costs will be deducted from your return refund.
"Opened" and unused products and accessories in their original packaging can be returned within 30 days of delivery*, but will be subject to a 25% restocking fee to cover testing, cleaning and repackaging expenses. Once an item has been installed it cannot be returned. Any damage due to improper installation is the responsibility of you or your installer. A warranty claim can be made, but it is up to the discretion of the manufacturer if they will cover any costs associated with an incorrect installation.
You must take the time to inspect the goods before you sign the delivery receipt from the carrier. If you sign the delivery receipt without inspecting the shipment you will be responsible for filing a freight claim and arranging for a repair or return of the damaged goods. Concealed damage claims must be reported immediately.
Air Conditioners R Us may test products that are returned because they didn't start when arrived and impose a customer fee equal to 15 percent of the product sales price if the customer misrepresents the condition of the product. Any returned product that is damaged through customer misuse, is missing parts, or is in unsellable condition due to customer tampering may result in the customer being charged a higher restocking fee based on the condition of the product.
Packages that contain more than $500 of merchandise will always require a signature; otherwise, it is generally up to the driver's discretion to determine whether a signature is required. Any non-deliverable packages returned by the ground or LTL freight carrier will incur the actual return carrier charges and original shipping charges deducted from original payment. All other returns for refund or exchange need to be requested within 30 days of delivery in new, unopened and undamaged condition. Shipping cost will be deducted for refunds or exchanges, not due to shipping damage.
